Our process of manufacturing ISO22000:2005 quality White Rice begins with the removal of the husk, bran and germ. This alters the flavor, texture and appearance of the rice. Then, during the milling process, the rice is polished which results in the kernel having a bright, white and shiny appearance. Since white rice is resistant to oxidation, removing the bran layers helps to prevent spoilage and increase its cooking quality, hence, its longer shelf life.
